Welcome to New Girls on the Block - An open forum for women who are starting their own business in Western Australia

When you are starting your own business it can feel like you’re alone; especially when working from home and then going to a networking group – it can feel like everyone there is so much more of an expert than you. It’s even scarier if you end up speaking with someone who is in your industry, or a direct competitor.

New Girls on the Block aims to provide a safe environment where you can discuss your businesses issues, as well as your successes with others who will cheer you on.

Our aim is to help your business survive and flourish in the first critical couple of years, as well as build your business for the future you want. Membership is $70 per annum.

This Month

This month has been quite fun – at our March meeting on the 7th Helen Devereaux from My Budget Trainer spoke with us about money, how women view money and how we can find a better balance. Having sold her successful mortgage broking business, Helen harnessed her passion and focus for helping women and families take control of their finances, and has developed a Personal Budgeting System to assist with this.
We also announced our next fantastic Girls Shed event. Details are below.
Our next meeting is on the 2nd of April and is an Evening meeting at the exceptional Dolcetto Cafe and patisserie, Shop 3-4/400 Fitzgerald St, North Perth. The cafe will only stay open if we have the numbers. They are a new business as well so it would be great to support them, if you are available. Plenty of free off-street parking available. RSVPs are essential, Click here to book
